Our mission
The architect firm FDA planned to change its brand to “Osar Architecture” and to support this change the well-known architecture consultancy called on Cherry and Cake to revamp its website. It was our job to make Osar’s website stand out.

Our concept
More than building yet another dynamic website based on a CMS, we proposed to make use of a series of web services on offer. We build a website compiled from a mash-up based on Google Map, Flickr and YouTube. The homepage, entirely covered by a Google Map view gave visitors in an original and surprising way a direct access to Osar’s projects, which were pinpointed on the map. Via category buttons, visitors could filter by type of project and via Google Map’s navigation, projects could be viewed on street level. All the project’s image galeries were dynamically linked with Osar’s Flickr account. The movies and 3D walkthroughs were also served via external services such as Youtube. Thanks to this concept, Osar’s online presence went beyond its corporate website which stood out against more traditional websites of competitors.
