The aim of this ad is to remind Belgian tourists that Great Britain is a favoured destination within two hours' travelling time of Belgium. Hence the notion of using typically Belgian expressions. Possibly the British influence itself had something to do with this!

D'où l'idée d'utiliser des expressions typiquement belges et pourtant dans lesquelles l'influence britannique y est peut-être pour quelque chose !

Met die advertentie wil men de Belgische toeristen eraan herinneren dat Groot-Brittannië een uitgelezen bestemming is, die op minder dan 2 uur verwijderd is van België. Vandaar het idee om typisch Belgische uitdrukkingen te gebruiken waarin de Britse invloed misschien ook wel merkbaar is!
